Wiltshire Pension Fund appoints senior LGPS officer

Wiltshire Pension Fund has appointed Jennifer Devine, the head of the fund, as its new senior LGPS officer.
In her new role, she will continue to provide leadership for the fund as it responds to major changes taking place across the LGPS.
The role has been introduced as part of the national LGPS reforms aimed at strengthening accountability and ensuring pension funds are well placed to meet future challenges.
As the senior LGPS officer, Devine will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the Wiltshire Pension Fund and will work closely with the committee, pension board and officers to make sure the fund is well run, complies with regulations and continues to provide members with a reliable and efficient service.
She said: “I’m delighted to take on the role of Senior Officer at such an important time for the LGPS. Wiltshire Pension Fund has a strong track record of delivering for its members and employers, and I look forward to continuing to build on that success.
“My focus will be on ensuring the Fund remains well governed, financially strong and able to provide the high standard of service our members expect.”
