New LGPS promotional toolkit launched

The LGPS regulations and guidance portal has launched a new toolkit to help employers promote the value of the LGPS to its members and prospective members.

Among the resources available are an email footer, social media posts, posters, promotional leaflets and a video transcript.

The toolkit will be most relevant for employers communicating with new LGPS members, however the resources could also be useful for those communicating with workers who have opted out of the LGPS or as part of the automatic enrolment cycle.

It may also be useful when trying to educate existing members about the LGPS and their options.
Additionally, the materials can be used by administering authorities and other stakeholders who wish to help members and potential members understand the benefits offered by the LGPS.
