Border to Coast celebrates fifth birthday

Border to Coast Pensions Partnership is celebrating five years of making a difference for the LGPS.

It was considered an occasion to reflect and recall pivotal moments, challenges overcome, and change embraced over the life of the pool to date.

The pool also wanted to take a moment to thank colleagues at Border to Coast and all their partner funds who have been instrumental in developing the pool and making it what it is today. The pool told its members: “Your dedication, expertise, enthusiasm and commitment to our vision – to make a difference for the LGPS – have driven our achievements.”

Rachel Elwell, CEO at Border to Coast, said: “When I look back on the last five years, I just want to say how proud I am of everyone that’s been involved in helping to bring Border to Coast to life.

“Whether they are still here or part of that journey, it’s been an amazing journey and I’m really looking forward to seeing what comes next.”
